The CHEAP Labors

Hello to all engineers.. a.k.a the cheap labors.. Has anybody in the engineering field ever thought of being one?

In the code of ethics for engineers, either specified by BEM or IEM, the codes always highlights that engineers are employees who need to obey the employers. Meaning we are born to be labors.

In a project, if let say the project consists of architects, engineers and also QA, architect will be allocated 6% of the total profit, engineers, 2% and QA, 1%. If the project succeeded, only the will be recognized. However, if anything goes wrong, all the responsibilities go to engineers. See how unfair it is?

Fresh graduate engineers earn only RM 1800 to RM 2500 per month. How much is the workload? INFINITY!

My comment

i AGREE

Experienced internship for 8months makes me feel like slave.

The conclusion is, become an engineer is to serve society.

Luckily I am not taking medic. To my friends who took medic. Good Luck. Serve society well.

Become an engineer is not to make money

(I thought all engineer can make money, that’s why I took engineering course)

There are a lot of engineers out there

(very easy to become engineers nowadays).

I hope I can be the good one.
